About us
Overview
ENHANCE (Enabling New Horizons for Advanced Networking, Code-sharing, and Education in Total-Body PET Imaging) is a pioneering initiative dedicated to empowering the global PET imaging community. We strive to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and facilitate learning through a robust platform that connects researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals. Together, we're shaping the future of PET imaging for improved diagnostics and patient care.
Objectives
The primary objectives of the platform are to facilitate the sharing of open-source tools, provide access to high-quality total-body PET datasets, and offer educational resources that foster interdisciplinary collaboration, accelerate research, and promote innovation in the field.
MOOSE
MOOSE (Multi-organ Objective Segmentation) is a cutting-edge, data-centric AI solution designed to streamline systemic Total-Body research by generating multilabel organ segmentations with unparalleled precision. Built on the robust nn-UNet framework, MOOSE can identify 120 unique tissue classes from whole-body 18F-FDG PET/CT images, accepting inputs as either combined PET/CT images or CT-only images.
Our commitment to data-centric AI principles lies at the core of MOOSE's innovation. By maintaining a fixed state-of-the-art architecture (nnUNet), we focus on strategically augmenting the training dataset to achieve optimal segmentation performance. MOOSE leverages the concept of similarity space to systematically monitor and integrate data that enhances performance. Harness the full potential of total-body PET with MOOSE.

OCELOT
Introducing OCELOT (DiffeOmorphiC rEgistration for voxel-wise anOmaly Tracking), a state-of-the-art tool designed to detect patient anomalies by leveraging a normative database (NormDB) for precise reference CT/PET comparisons. The NormDB serves as the foundation for generating accurate aberration maps and pinpointing deviations and areas of interest. OCELOT's sophisticated algorithms make it the ultimate choice for examining complex multi-organ diseases, including cancer-induced cachexia.
Utilising AI-driven advanced regularisations and a robust deformable registration engine, OCELOT seamlessly transfers healthy subjects within a cohort into a common reference space where the NormDB is constructed. Patients can then be compared using a refined alignment procedure to identify voxel-wise aberrations in this reference space. Stay tuned for the release of OCELOT by the end of this year!
